1938. BELIEVE IT OR NOT
A WESTERN WAS MADE IN 1938 FEATURING A CAST OF GUN SLINGING BAD ASS
MIDGETS.
Its reputation is that
of one of Hollywood’s oddest features, a self-proclaimed “novelty picture”
that’s so bizarre, one is often stunned to think it was actually made.
Possibly the most politically incorrect movie of all time, a stirring
tale of cowboys, rustlers, whiskey, and midgets.
The hero was played by
Billy Curtis, best known as the City Father of Munchkin City in the
Judy Garland WIZARD OF OZ. Thirty plus years later, Curtis was still
doing films such as HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER (1972) which starred Clint Eastwood.
TINY TOWN cast members Yvonne Moray, "Little Billy" Rhodes,
John T. Bambury, Joseph Herbst, Charles Becker, Nita Krebs, George Ministeri,
and William H. O'Docharty also worked in the OZ film. |
